COBOL DEVELOPER (DB2)

Cobol Developer (DB2) urgently required by one of my clients for a long term contract position based in Brussels, Belgium.

Must Have:
* Hands on Cobol/DB2 programming experience in Legacy Mainframe based system
* Strong understanding of Source code Cobol and SQL
* Experience in SDLC and Methodologies
* Proficiency in Dutch/French and English
* Insurance (Life and Non-Life) domain knowledge - Preferable
* Ability to participate in Business Discussion/Meeting & Requirement review with SMEs
* Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people
* Seeking information/clarification for projects or support high priority incidents
* Translating the documents/sharing information from local language to English
* Ability to work as a bi-lingual and interfacing between Customer and TCS team
* Flexible in working hours (8 Hours/day) based on project requirements

GOOD TO HAVE:
* Having basic knowledge in Operating System (TSO), Batch Jobs (JCL), Onlines, and operating languages such as Assembly/ADABAS
* Prior experience in working with multi-cultural team and offshore onsite model
* Documentation skill and sufficient knowledge in Microsoft productivity tools like Ms-word, Ms-excel, PPT etc.
