Cobol Center Developer

COBOL CENTER DEVELOPER

One of my major client in Brussels, Belgium is urgently looking for a French/Dutch speaking Cobol Center Developer for a 6-12 month contract.

THE COBOL CENTER DEVELOPER WILL:

- Hands on Cobol/DB2 programming experience in Legacy Mainframe based system
- Strong understanding of Source code Cobol and SQL
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in SDLC and Methodologies
- Proficiency in Dutch/French and English (E2)
- Insurance (Life and Non-Life) domain knowledge - Preferable
- Ability to participate in Business Discussion/Meeting & Requirement review with SMEs
- Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people
- Seeking information/clarification for projects or support high priority incidents
- Translating the documents/sharing information from local language to English
- Ability to work as a bi-lingual and interfacing between Customer and Clients team
- Flexible in working hours (8 Hours/day) based on project requirements
- Having basic knowledge in Operating System (TSO), Batch Jobs (JCL), Onlines, and operating languages such as Assembly/ADABAS
- Prior experience in working with multi-cultural team and offshore onsite model
- Documentation skill and sufficient knowledge in Microsoft productivity tools like Ms-word, Ms-excel, PPT etc.
