As the Geotechnical Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Geotechnical mapping
- Interpretation & design
- Ground support excavation design
- Technical Support
- Underground inspections
In this role you will be a part of a large supportive team, you will be offered great salary package, and a mix of day to day and project work. To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Geological) as well as having a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in an Underground coal mine. Preferably within the Australian mining sector.Salaries will be experience relevant and will be in the range of $120,000 - $140,000 + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
