CNC Programmer/CNC Machinist

My client is a successful design and manufacturing business in the Aerospace and Defence industry and is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer/CNC Machinist on a contract basis.
My client has the ability to take a product from conception right through to production. Having just won several projects my client is looking to increase their workforce across three sites.

South East
Midlands
North East

You will be creating CNC programming, identifying holding requirements, tooling requirements and jig design.
You will support the manufacturing process with tooling issues
Work with the design team to identify cost savings and improve machining and programming productivity.

The successful candidate should possess:

- Relevant experience in programming and production engineering.
- Knowledge of milling and turning machining techniques and speeds & feeds
- Knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc machine tools
- Excellent communication skills.
