CMM Programmer - PC-DMIS

Our client, a leading British Aerospace company is looking for a number of CMM Programmers for a 6 months contract in Barnoldswick.

We are looking for contractors to create and validate measurement programs, implement measurement excellence processes and create high quality inspection technical packages.

We are looking for you to assist with the development of inspector technical skills, set standards and deliver stable, standardised automated measurement processes.

You will present measurement data in a way it can be used to manage and continually improve process capabilities.

Essential Skills

- PC-DMIS/PCDMIS
- Solid relevant industry experience of automated measurement processes
- Good understanding of the interpretation of GD&T, technical drawings and CMM measurement.
- Team player
- Advantageous but not essential - Degree level education in Engineering or Metrology

The ideal candidate will come from an Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing engineering background and would have a good understanding of lean manufacturing, process improvement and machining processes.
