Cluster Manager

My client is seeking a Cluster Manager to manage business system design, development, procurement and deployment as required and the coordination of associated business guidelines, procedures and documentation development.

Duties:

- Management of the development, implementation and review of strategies, procedures and guidelines to support the work of the department.
- Coordinating the management of projects leading to the improvement and enhancement of business systems
- Managing the financial and human resource needs of the learning and business systems team including budget, recruitment, induction and the capability building of staff.
- Negotiating on behalf of the client contractual and other arrangements in relation to systems development and operations with external suppliers and other external agencies.
- Develop and maintain a Business Plan for strategic priorities

Selection Criteria:

- Significant skills and experience in the management of ICT systems in a large scale, dynamic, customer centric oriented business context.
- Significant skills and demonstrated experience in managing complex projects using one or more project management methodologies. Projects should span the full system development life cycle (SDLC)
- High level skills in strategic and operational planning and demonstrated ability in managing processes to produce timely and accurate information.
- High level experience in the provision of well researched policy advice.
- Ability to develop staff and create high performing teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and a record of successful engagement with key stakeholders.
- Proven high level capacity in the management of people and of organisational, program and cultural change.
- Proven capacity to manage conflicting priorities, meet tight time frames and deal with complex issues.
