FOR A MAJOR CLIENT OF OURS IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR, SWISSLINX IS SEARCHING FOR A LOCAL CLOUD SUITABILITY & MIGRATION PROFESSIONAL FOR A CONTRACF POSITION IN ZURICH.
As part of the Cloud Intro team you will support all the assessment of business applications and infrastructure for Cloud Readiness. You identify the technical debt in architecture and implementation and propose changes to the owners of home grown or 3rd party solutions. Furthermore, you document your Cloud architecture know how in blueprints so that future solution can be easily integrated. You support the migration of solutions to the Cloud and document the How To.
YOUR MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
- Assess the technical debt of solution design, architecture, and the implementation of business applications and infrastructure components.
- Provide Cloud migration support
- Deliver architectural blueprints and Best Practice documents. Produce and maintain a catalogue of solution blueprints, How-to documents and Knowledge Base articles.
WE ARE LOOKING SOMEONE WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE:
Ideally, you started your career as a software developer, gained exposure to developing complex Server Side applications using Java/JEE. Cloud experience and another complex technology stack is a plus. Assumed a chief developer or project architect role, you are now looking for a job with a global impact and a broad technology mix. You have a passion for technology and a quality gene. Based on your experience as software architect, lead developer, or similar, you understand different software development processes and methods, are familiar with all stages of the SDLC. You can make connections between the big picture level and technical details to assess quality and identify risks.
