Cloud Specialist/Developer (CHEF, Hudson, Jenkins)

Our client, a major Pharma global player is currently looking for a CLOUD SPECIALIST for a 12 months contract in Basel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Work with the IT Infrastructure and other IT team members to refine and clarify requirements to automate Middleware management (delivery, configuration, monitoring...) and deployment process
- Use appropriate technologies such as Chef, Hudson, Jenkins, Cloud etc.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvement to CI/CD processes
- Design, document and help optimize the CI/CD strategies in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality.
- Effectively develop and communicate technical solutions to unique client issues.
- Experience in Java/J2EE Servers, Oracle, Shell Scripting, Ruby, Chef (mandatory), Hudson/Jenkins

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 5 years' experience in a technical analytical position in charge of managing large server environments
- EXPERIENCE WITH CHEF IS MANDATORY
- Knowledge of continuous integration and release process management.
- Strong Linux/Middleware Administration including application and network troubleshooting
- Knowledge of bash and Perl Shell Scripting.
- Experience with managing Open Source software
- Python, Perl, and Ruby experience
- OpenStack experience is a plus
- Experience with Chef is mandatory

MISCELLANEOUS:

START: April/May
END: 12 months Contract
Workload: 100% onsite in Basel
English is compulsory
