Cloud Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect is expected to help define, accelerate and close solutions to strategic businesses within a defined set of accounts. Must perform a variety of tasks including product overviews, customised presentations and demonstrations, complex solution design, infrastructure surveys, proposal development, advanced product evaluations, product feature/benefit discussions and work on opportunities mapping business and IT objectives. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: • Experience designing/architecting data centre infrastructures including storage, virtualization, networking and applications;
• Experience of designing overall cloud solutions with a mixture of onsite/offsite and 'as a service' consumption based offerings;
• Experience of managed services/cloud design and associated services such as security, wide area networks and service level agreements; • vBlock, Flexpod, VMDC exposure EMC / Netapps storage.
• Experience with EMC Avamar
• Practical experience with architecting, designing and supporting cloud solutions encompassing SAN, virtualisation, compute, network, MPLS, (route/switch; security and firewall; load balancer, WAN and internet) Experiance with Cisco and Juniper.
