Cloud Platform Service Engineer Job

CLOUD PLATFORM SERVICE ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Pleasanton, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS

- Five (5) years Linux
- Service Operations
- Five (5) years engineering cloud
- Large scale SQL/NoSQL
- Cloud resource provisioning tools
- Scripting skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Participate in engineering of new Cloud Platform Services and architecture components including, but not limited to:
- Operations Infrastructure (monitoring, deployment, remediation, security/IDS/IPS, logging, notification)
- Participate in evolved ITIL Service Management and Service Delivery Models tailored for delivery of cloud services
- Participate in an on call rotation (24x7x365)

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development, service engineering or cloud/online service operations
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience of Linux operating system

- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-site organization
- Experience working in Agile development environment
- Familiarity with Hadoop and Big Data technologies
