Cloud Infrastructure Architect - Cloud, Infrastructure, Architect
Work Location: Sweden - Stockholm
Job Summary: A Global Leading Telecommunications customer and IT solutions provider based in Stockholm are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to facilitate the development and testing of cloud based tools and environments. My customer are planning to build a company level environment for supporting development and testing of Big Data products.
I am seeking a candidate for the environment and tools design and architecture within the field of Cloud and Big Data.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
1.Define R&D tool chains(DevOps) and environment architecture for the Cloud and Big Data products based on the products from radio network, fixed network including Routers, enterprise infrastructure, consumer devices such as smart phone, tablets and so on.
2.Lead a team to analyse and break down the R&D tool and environment architecture in details and give instruction to the junior engineer to implement that.
3.Identify the technology involvement trend and potential business value and lead a team to explore and develop those emerging technologies.
4.Guide & influence the R&D teams to lift up development (including R&D, test, environment and method) Competence in order to build up the E2E R&D Efficiency/Capability
5.Conduct Industry best practice analysis & Gap analysis based on the present situation and provide some new ideas/thoughts and improvement road-map, implementation strategy and planning. Lead the future direction of development of our R&D tools and modes.
Qualifications:
1. At least 15 years of R&D + Test experience, in depth knowledge of Internet or network product and solution design and testing.
2. More than 5 years experience in building environment of Cloud. Experts are preferred with Cloud and Big Data at least 5 years of R&D experience from tier 1 software companies such as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.
3. More than 2 years experience in business and strategy planning on software engineering or architecture design.
4. Have R&D experience from the tier 1 telecoms Operators, Providers or IT Companies.
5. Good communication and documentation skills, good team working and problem solving skills, demonstrated ability to be mentor in training people
6. Education: Telecommunication, CS & Automation Control related fields
Related Prerequisite. Workshops and Fs2F discussions in China - 3 to 4 months per year
