Cloud Implementation Engineer- Linux

The Implementations Engineer will support the Cloud Pre-Sales and Sales teams in responding the bids and opportunities and will be primarily responsible for the development and support of complex technical solutions. The role will at times be customer facing and be the focal point for detailed technical discussions with the customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Technical requirements capture.
- Presentation of technical solutions to customers.
- Design, build, test and document proof of concepts, reference and production solutions to meet the technical, commercial and operational needs of customers.
- Research and understand emerging technologies and develop appropriate use cases that may be applied to customer opportunities.
- Ensure technical solutions are robust, efficient and meet the technical and commercial requirements of the business.
- Design and delivery of effective migration and implementation strategies.
- Work with the Sales, Presales, Design and Delivery in support of customer opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong relevant industry experience
- Experience of enterprise architecture
- Experience building and operating online services and fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Technical knowledge of IT & networks, architecture, design and management as it relates to the managed IT provider industry.

EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A NUMBER OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
