Cloud Developer Consultant - Contract - Remote working with 20% travel
- Over 5 Years of Agile core Java &J2EE experience.
- In-depth understanding and experience of Cloud based offerings and solutions such as Infrastructure as Service (Iaas), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Migration of applications to Cloud including assessment of applications for judging suitability and then executing the migration.
Cloud Developer Consultant - Remote working
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Extensive commercial experience of Java development - J2EE.
- Experience of bug fixing within the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of working within a Development Methodology, ideally Agile.
- Web languages, eg PHP, JavaScript, HTML or equivalent.
- Scripting languages, eg Shell, Python or equivalent.
- Cloud platforms, eg Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Rackspace.
- Databases, eg SQL and MySQL.
- Deployment, eg Puppet, Chef.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS ESSENTIAL but Italian and or German would also be an advantage
