CLOUD COMPUTING SALES/ARCHITECT needed for a contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Herndon, VA.

- Systems Integration/Infrastructure Disciplines

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

The incumbent will handle Technical Leadership duties including:
- Gathers and assesses clients business and technical needs; works with clients IT and Lines of Business management to develop an accurate understanding of Cloud needs and issues.
- Identifies client wide IT parameters and constraints that impact potential solutions.
- Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
- Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Understands the client's business problem, need or opportunity and designs a solution that appropriately addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity.
- Applies knowledge of the industry; uses IT to address business challenges using technical standards and infrastructure; cross industry trends that impact IT investment; industry specific roadmaps; IT enablers.
- Understands and applies information system or operational solution related modelling methods and tools.
- Understands future technology or operational trends as they relate to and support customer business requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Deep expertise with IT architectural, development, and operational methodologies.
- Broad knowledge of HP technology and solutions.
- Experience with National Security and/or DOD IT systems, polices, and requirements is a plus.
- Experience in leading or supporting business development activities for medium to large opportunities.
- 10 plus years of industry experience.
- Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills; ability to use a wide variety of presentation tools to persuasively communicate complex and high impact messages to multiple audience levels
- Strong client influence and negotiation skills; ability to translate technical or operational topics into business terms and projects.
- Professional in appearance with the ability to present a positive image to government clients
- Cloud Pre-Sales, Broad experience with architecting automated, virtualized, data center environments; experience architecting Infrastructure Automation and Cloud Computing solutions, Cloud Service Automation, Cloud System and/or competitor solutions.
