Cloud Architect | 6 months | Geneva | Azure, AWS, SCVMM, WAP
Square One are actively looking for an experienced Cloud Architect for an initial 6 month contract working for one of our major clients based out of Geneva.
The Successful candidate will have the following skills:
Cloud Architect with strong knowledge of technologies driving Private and Public cloud. Knowledge of Public Cloud providers like Azure, AWS would be mandatory. Experience and knowledge of setting up a Private Cloud is required on any technology, but understanding of tools like SCVMM, WAP or similar Microsoft tools is mandatory.
Good understanding of cloud brokerage model and workflow is important. Knowledge of designing a solution on public cloud is mandatory. Experience in setting up DevOps using appropriate tools is added advantage. Any certifications will be preferable.
Responsibilities:
Understand the existing cloud setup and offerings and help the team in business development activities around the Cloud Offerings
Customer interactions to understand the requirements and propose the right solutions in a hybrid model to suit the needs of the workloads.
Interface with customer Architecture and Innovation team and lead the design and architecture discussions.
Interfacing with the Technology vendors and driving the solution delivery
Implementation of the technology roadmap for the Cloud and DevOps (continuous deployment part of infra in various cloud formats)
Act as a primary interface for the customer and help delivery the service effectively through interactions with the offshore team and other tracks as required
Leverage the practice and technology tower effectively to define and deliver the required solutions for cloud
Provide regular reporting to the program management team on the progress of the various tasks
