Clojure Developer/Technical Lead - 12 Month Contract - London

CLOJURE DEVELOPER/TECHNICAL LEAD - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - LONDON

We're looking for an experienced Clojure Developer to join this major media company on a long term Clojure/Java project. The ideal Clojure candidate will have strong technical leadership and architecture experience as well.

The successful Clojure Developer/Technical Lead will ideally have 18months + commercial Clojure development experience, but we would consider someone with minimal commercial Clojure experience who has examples of personal work or open source contributions/projects and considerable technical leadership and architect experience.

You must have excellent experience working in strong Agile environments (XP, Scrum, KanBan, Lean, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) following strict TDD or BDD and have an appreciation of DevOps.

KEY SKILLS:

- 18months + commercial Clojure experience, or considerable demonstrable personal experience.
- Excellent Java Development background
- RESTful Web Services
- Dropwizard
- NoSQL (MongoDB)
- High volume applications
- Web development experience would be a bonus (JavaScript, Knockout, Angular, HTML, CSS)
- Agile (XP, KanBan, Lean, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment)
- TDD/BDD
- DevOps
