Clojure Developer - 12 Month Contract - Central London

CLOJURE DEVELOPER - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - CENTRAL LONDON

We're looking for an experienced Clojure Developer to join this major media company on a long term Clojure project in central London (City). The ideal Clojure Developer will have strong commercial Clojure experience as well as ideally a background in Java or Ruby.

The successful Clojure Developer should have at least 6 months commercial Clojure development experience, but we would consider someone with less commercial Clojure experience who has examples of extensive personal work or open source contributions/projects in Clojure.

You must have excellent experience working in strong Agile environments (XP, Scrum, KanBan, Lean, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) following strict TDD or BDD and have an appreciation of DevOps.

KEY SKILLS:

- Clojure commercial experience, or considerable demonstrable personal experience.
- Excellent Java or Ruby Development background
- RESTful Web Services
- Dropwizard
- NoSQL (MongoDB)
- High volume applications
- Web development experience would be a bonus (JavaScript, Knockout, Angular, HTML, CSS)
- Agile (XP, KanBan, Lean, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment)
- TDD/BDD
- DevOps
