Clinical Trials Officer

Job Summary:

12 month fixed term contract role as a Clinical Trials Officer (CTO). Competitive salary on offer.

Job Accountabilities:

Clinical trial officer is responsible for the co-ordination, tracking and documentation of clinical trial activities. The CTO will also provide support for the preparation and filing of trial related communications and documentation.

Job Content:

Preparation, review the monitor plan, protocol, IMPD, IB, clinical study related reports as per Regulatory guidelines.
Ensuring the timelines and monitoring the study progress.
Liaising with the CRO in finalizing the protocol with Medical consultant
Selection and communicating with the monitor.
Assessing the audit report for the CRO provide by the auditor
Archiving the Clinical study report, TMF.
Documentation.
Filing.
General administration work related to the trial.
Liaising in the Selection of the CRO in association with GCP consultant
Managing communication activities.
Coordinating with the Project manager in managing sponsor oversight
Creation and maintenance of Trial files, including the trial master file, and oversight of site files.
Assurance that personal and confidential information is restricted to those entitled to know.
Data collection and management, collection of source documents, assessment of CRF's, management AEs, filing and archiving, managing monitoring visits, dealing with queries.
Close -out of the clinical trial, contributing to research article, audit preparation, trial closure, communication with authorities and other disciplines involved, assisting in the final study report.

Working Relationships

Accountable to the New Drug Development and Scientific Affairs Manager on a day to day basis.
