CLINICAL SCIENTIST, BASEL - PHARMA
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced CLINICAL SCIENTIST with proven experience with DATA CLEANING, STUDY SET UP AND PROTOCOL WRITING to join one of their clients, a global and well renowned pharmaceutical company with HQ in Basel. For this temporary assignment we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is immediately available and ready to work in Basel.
Are you a highly qualified Clinical Scientist versed in medical aspects of GCP (Good Clinical practice), ICH (International Conference on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Humans Use), FDA, EMEA etc. and who is looking for a new and exciting challenge?

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you as a Clinical Scientist will participate in the development of the Clinical Development (CD) strategy. In addition you will plan and ensure effective and efficient CD plan execution for the assigned molecules/indications etc.
Another main accountabilities interacting as Clinical Scientist is that you will participle in health authority (HA) interactions with supervision from more experienced PD Medical Directors.
In overall, this global project includes 3 main responsibilities: the Cross-Functional Team Membership, the Gobal Clinical Development Planning and the Clinical Development Plan Implementation.
YOUR PROFILE:
- D. WITH RELEVANT MEDICAL EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR THERAPEUTIC AREA IS REQUIRED
- 2 OR MORE YEARS' EXPERIENCE within a PHARMACEUTICAL/BIOTECH INDUSTRY or recognized expert in the field
- 2 OR MORE YEARS' EXPERIENCE with CLINICAL TRIALS across Phase II - III of drug development
- 10 YEARS' EXPERIENCE working with the principles and techniques OF DATA ANALYSIS, INTERPRETATION and CLINICAL RELEVANCE (eg ISS, ISE, competitor data etc.)
- EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING PRODUCT AND SAFETY PROFILES
- Strong experience in medical aspects of GCP (Good Clinical Practice), ICH, FDA, EMEA, NICE and other relevant guidelines and regulations
- Expertise in pediatrics is a plus
- Excellent project management skills
- Good negotiations and influencing skills
- Decision - making skills (ie knows how to make trade-o9ff decisions while balancing ethics and efficacy)
- Very good communication skills with fluency in English
