Clinical SAS Programmer - Contract

A leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) based in the Greater Detroit area has a exceptional new opportunity for a Clinical SAS Programmer to join a their Biometrics department and step in as a technical lead on a number of therapeutically varied studies. This is a 6 month initial contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

The continued growth and success of the CRO has led to another increase in workload and need for a Clinical SAS Programmer to take a lead role in a number of Phase II and III studies across Oncology, Cardiology and Infectious Diseases. The Clinical SAS Programmer will work in a client oriented role and will be responsible for the following areas:

- SAP creation with client and Biostatistics team
- Creation of SDTM data sets from raw clinical trials data
- Creation of ADaM data sets
- Creation of Data Definition Documents
- Lead point of contact with client sponsors
- Mentoring and Leadership of junior staff members

Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:

- 5+ years Clinical SAS Programming experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Previous working experience within a CRO
- Strong CDISC, SDTM and ADaM experience
- Data Definition Document (define.xml) creation experience
