Clinical Research Study Manager

Our client are seeking to appoint a Clinical Research Study Manager in the South East for a 12 month contract.

Main Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to):

- Planning and managing clinical operations for assigned clinical projects, including timelines, budgets, personnel resources, investigational sites, vendors and key project deliverables.
- Provides strategic planning expertise, drafts the operations components, and ensures operational feasibility of clinical development plans and scenarios, including budget and resource estimates.
- Convene and lead cross-functional clinical teams. Participate in and guide study team in vendor selection and management throughout the life of assigned clinical projects.
- Work with study teams to determine patient recruitment strategies and operational feasibility and implementation of study objectives.

Skills/Experience:

- Have in depth Study Management experience managing clinical studies across multiple regions and countries preferably in Pharma or CRO environment.
- Will have demonstrated ability to deliver all stages of study execution (planning/feasibility, startup, maintenance, closeout).
- Very good knowledge and experience of the pharmaceutical working environment and matrix teams.
- Author and refine clinical operations plans and study monitoring plans. Lead ongoing study team review of data.
- Manage and communicate to senior management overall clinical strategic operations plan for projects including timelines, internal and external resources/costs, key deliverables and key data issues.
- Plan, convene and present at investigator meetings. Develop and manage study timelines.
- degree in life science and/or MS degree in business; experience in a contract management function or compliance-related function; knowledge of federal regulations and other pharma policies
