Clinical Research Nurse

A leading UK based CRO are seeking to appoint a Clinical Research Nurse to work within their early phase clinical research unit. The successful candidate will be an experienced nurse with either previous clinical research experience, or someone who wants to embark on a career within clinical research. Training will be provided. Main Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to) * Immediate Life Support Trained * Ability to perform 12-lead ECG * Skilled in Venepuncture and cannulation * Ability to take vital signs * Can provide Scintigraphic imaging support to the Clinical Scientists * Can provide support to the Clinical Scientists for tracking and activation of Enterion capsules * Enterion capsule retrieval * Ability to train and perform spirometry * Thorough understanding of the processing of all biological samples * Shipment of all biological samples * Study set up including study day paperwork * Study day dispensing and dosing requirements * Advanced Life Support The ideal candidate will have: * RGN or equivalent with at least 2 years post registration experience * Preferably, experience of working within a critical care setting and/or clinical research environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to secure a permanent position within a reputable company.
