Clinical Quality Registered Nurse Job

CLINICAL QUALITY REGISTERED NURSE needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Richmond, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- HEDIS Data Collection Experience
- Medical Review Experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform HEDIS medical record review.
- Complete inter-rater reliability testing and required computer training successfully in order to complete this data collection.
- Conduct additional QI audits through medical record review.
- Educates Physicians, RNs and other clinical employees in the office with regard to HEDIS/Medicare STARs requirements
- Develops interdepartmental relationships to develop and execute initiatives to overcome identified barriers to achieving clinical quality benchmarks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Current unrestricted RN license in the state of California required
- Nursing Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2+) years of Clinical Quality experience (Prefer managed care setting)
- Previous Medical record/chart review experience in a non-clinical setting required
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills required.
- Skilled in use of computers including MS Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
