Clinical Quality Assurance Lead; London; 4 Month; £450/day

My client, a leading Public Sector organisation is seeking to recruit a Clinical Quality Assurance Lead to join their team onsite in London. As a Clinical Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for leading quality in partnership with local and national stakeholders to ensure that robust quality measures are in place across all commissioned services. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in the Health Sector as well as an extensive knowledge of quality and patient safety, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
*Provide effective operational leadership and expertise to the Quality team.
*Develop and maintain effective working relationships, communication, co-operation and engagement with internal and external stakeholders (clinical and non-clinical).
*Provide expert advice and support on quality
*Negotiate with external organisations over highly sensitive and contentious specific issues, requiring excellent knowledge of SLAs and contract monitoring technicalities.
*Analyse complex information from surveys, audits, reviews and investigations and work with performance and commissioning colleagues to develop and implement monitoring systems for improving Quality.
*Interpret and assess the relevance of national policy and guidance, provide support to executive and clinical executive teams regarding implementation and evaluation.
*Plan and organise projects and complex activities in relation to implementing the short and medium-term Quality agenda at the sector, leading and facilitating a multidisciplinary, multi-organisation and collaborative approach to quality improvement.
*Review and adjust existing strategies for Quality monitoring and improvement as services develop/the context changes
*Support and facilitate the Clinical Advisory team and the clinical and quality committees to identify and agree key projects to deliver national and local quality targets and standards.
*Work with the Clinical and Quality Director, Contracting and other colleagues and ensure quality is adequately captured in the PoD and commissioning strategies and policies.
*Line manage the Clinical Quality Assurance manager within the PoD including appraisal, objective-setting and dealing with any performance or conduct issues which arise

Key Knowledge and Skills
*Current clinical professional registration
*Managing Clinical Governance or risk within a large/complex organisation at a senior management level of SI management
*Presenting information to the Board and its committees
*Working on project teams/committees with multi- disciplinary membership
*Knowledge of service improvement programmes
*Knowledge of a variety of clinical care settings
*Outline knowledge of contracts in relation to Quality and Safety (KPI's/CQUINs)
*Knowledge of the principles/methodology of audit or research
*Knowledge of Health Sector performance management processes and systems
