Clinical Psychologist

Our Client is a large government organisation based in Gloucestershire they are currently looking for Clinical Psychologists to work on an initial 6 month part time contract.

The successful applicant will be working on an "on call" basis. IE it wont be a full time 37.5 hour week they will cover for staff holiday/etc. and come in during peak periods of work, eg when a recruitment campaign is going on or when they are needed for other reasons. They are looking for this to fulfil a permanent problem so anyone who does work like that elsewhere and may interested.

Mandatory Skills/Experience
*Doctoral Level training in Clinical Psychology
*Registered with BPS and HCPC
*Breadth of clinical experience across different settings
*Evidence of continued professional development and post doctoral training and conferences
*At least five years experience at consultant grade used in a job

Additional Information

The successful candidate must have clinical experience, they need to have done this role day in day out. They will know how to carry out risk assessment and personal profiling on individuals. It is expected that they are continuously doing personal development and studies to keep abreast of the latest developments in their field.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
