Clinical Pharmacy Resource

OPPORTUNITY:

Are you a licensed Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist with experience providing clinical system support? If so, we have the job for you! Our client is looking for a resource to configure their pharmacy module and perform system design and build activities. This is a three month contract in New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with the rollout of a barcode system that helps prevent medication errors.
- Develop and implement testing and integration plans for new software.
- Participate in the development of end-user training programs.
- Regularly evaluate the performance of pharmacy systems.
- Provide recommendations for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Licensed Pharm tech or Pharmacist with at least three years of experience in clinical systems support.
- Technology and information management expertise required, as is an extensive clinical background.
- Experience with Allscripts Sunrise Pharmacy (SRx), Omnicell, PatientSafe Solutions and/or any other pharmacy systems (eg, Cerner, GE, etc.) preferred.
- Allscripts experience preferred.
