Clinical Governance Deputy Director

Our client a large NHS Trust in Central London require an Interim Clinical Governance Director to ensure the trust is providing superior services supported by resilient governance and risk management processes. The interim will be responsible for the Integrated Governance process for the trust, including the development and production of strategies, policies, staff and patient information and training programmes. Working closely with the Nurse director and Medical director to ensure integration of corporate governance with the systems and processes delivering clinical governance, quality and patient safety, responsibility for Regulatory compliance and ensuring the Trusts meets all external regulatory body standard including CQC, Provide professional advice in relation to incidents, promote a safety culture. Candidates should have an high level of professional qualification, Knowledge and understanding of Risk management systems processes, Knowledge and experience of National NHS Regulatory Frameworks, Able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of governance, Principles, legislation and best practice, Experience of challenging senior professionals and board members on governance issues, able to present highly complex information to professional and public groups, Trust Board communication, Able to develop relationships with external partners and agencies (CQC, NHSLA) assessors the ability to present highly complex information to groups internally and externally.
