Clinical Development Director, MD - Oncology

Due to organisational changes within my client's offices in the UK, we are currently looking for an INTERIM Director level candidate for a position within their Oncology Global Clinical Development group, as Medical Director.

The opportunity of Medical Director is a fantastic chance for a Senior Clinical Research Physician with Phase I-III clinical research experience to work with a Pharmaceutical company with exciting growth plans. My client offers a dynamic working environment with cross functional leadership responsibility in addition to a highly competitive daily rate.

We require applicants with;

* MD, clinical practice experience in Oncology areas is highly desirable.
* Track record of successful, innovative, non-clinical research in therapeutic area related field and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in clinical research.
* MD with formal training in Oncology areas and candidates with extensive drug development experience.
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical business, worldwide drug development and regulatory process.
* Expertise in complex clinical trial design (i.e. factorial design, etc.) and complex implementation (i.e. including Steering Committees, Safety Monitoring Boards, etc.) as well as the interpretation of scientific data.
* Independent thinking, creativity and innovation.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with multinational development teams.

This opportunity is a 100% office based role in my client's offices in the West London region. It offers an attractive daily rate of circa 1000 per day. We are looking for local and international candidates with true global exposure.
