Clinical Contracting Negotiator Job

CLINICAL CONTRACTING NEGOTIATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in RIDGEFIELD, CT.

- Experience with clinical trial operations
- Working knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, and contracting concepts

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for the review, preparation, negotiation and execution of contracts and corresponding budget exhibits (including, but not limited to, clinical trial investigator agreements and/or independent consulting agreements) in accordance with corporate policies.
- Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, and contract terms to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Communicate contract policy to business and clinical team members.
- Prepare and administer contract correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated contract executions.
- May conduct research to support contract audits.
- Interact across multiple therapeutic areas and product lines to ensure timely, responsible and successful contract generation, administration and metric reporting to accomplish business goals and objectives for clinical trials.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors degree or paralegal degree
- Requires at least two (2) years experience with clinical trial operations
- Requires working knowledge of corporate policies, procedures and contracting concepts
- Basic knowledge of and exposure to the Code of Federal Regulations Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH Guidelines
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability two to four (2-4) years experience to draft standard contractual responses in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines
- Excellent internal and external negotiation skills
- Emerging ability to use sound, independent judgment, and creativity to resolve contract issues
