WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Conduct telephone surveys.
- Accurate and timely complaint entry.
- Capture of all applicable information into the complaint management system, performing follow-up attempts to obtain necessary information, requesting return of and forwarding any product received with a complaint to the appropriate verification center.
- Apply technical knowledge to provide direction and coordinate additional complaint activities with internal, field, and end use customers.
- Perform triage of incoming complaints for classification, prioritization and assignment to Safety Monitors.
- Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance with safety surveillance activities.
- Responsible for negotiation of complaint resolution and completion of customer care activities (such as reimbursements, product replacement).
- Prepare responses and communication letters to complainant or ECP
- Ability to manage an independent case loads with minimal supervision in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Communicate with ECP's to obtain consumer case history and lens replacement approvals Maintain relevant product knowledge and corresponding Instructions for Use (IFU).
- Evaluation of non serious and technical complaints
- Perform Quality Control reviews of cases identifying critical missing information and communicate recommendations to processors Interact with internal and external auditors during compliance audits.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- BS/BA equivalent relevant work experience related discipline or equivalent relevant work
- Three to five (3-5) years complaint handling, or product quality risk in a medical or pharmaceutical regulated environment
- Two (2) years experience dealing with healthcare professionals and/or consumers.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment with little supervision.
- Detail oriented, and ability to multitask
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and Trackwise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
