Clinical Coder

Real Staffing are working with an NHS client who is in need of a contract Clinical Coder for 12 months.

The Clinical Coder is going to be working as part of the current Coding team rather than on a back log. This will be across a range of specialties in an acute hospital. It will be initially for 4 days a week and the scope of work is for 12 months. This post is ideal for anyone who wants stability and guaranteed work while benefiting from a contractors rate.

Essentials:

- 3 or more years experience as a Clinical Coder (UK Based)
- ACC/NCCQ Qualified or working towards it
- Experience of both paper based and EPR coding
- Ability to extract information on the wards then code that back in the office (or willing to do so)
- Available for 2 hours to conduct a face to face interview and technical test (5-6 case notes on the day)

Desirable:

- Experience with Medicode/3M
- Previous experience as a contract Clinical Coder
- Able to start before Christmas or Early January
