Project Manager - Freelance - Operational Excellence (Leiden)

An exciting position has arisen with a major Pharmaceutical client of ours in Noord Holland region for a talented, proactive Project Management individual who wants to learn, grow add value on a couple of interesting projects. The ideal candidate will be a Project manager with good Supply chain, clinical trials, production & operational excellence knowledge, solid coordination experience and an eye for detail and analysis. You will coordinate success project milestones and operational excellence.

The successful Pharma Project Manager will:

- Have relevant industry knowledge (pharma, medical, bio)
- Worked on multi-disciplinary projects
- Worked on international projects
- Demonstrate a real proactivity
- Solid relationship builder
- Good overall Pharmaceutical or related industry experience
- Eye for detail
- Exposure to operational excellence (OPEX/Six Sigma)

Project Specific Tasks
-Contribute to and/or manage projects to improve distribution, performance, processes, quality and support expansion.
-As project manager oversee all project steps from project design to planning, tracking, involving stakeholder and sponsors, escalations, close out and lessons learnt.
-Analyses of alternatives, capabilities, performances, root causes, gaps and processes related to these pre-defined distribution projects.
-Timely, appropriate and effective escalation of issues that may affect project timelines, cost or results.
- Ensure compliance with global health authority regulations and guidelines and internal operating procedures and processes.

It is a dynamic and busy environment so a flexible individual, who is willing to learn & find their way around the organization would be best suited.

The position will also provide opportunities to travel as well.
