Client Side Software Engineer Job

CLIENT SIDE SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in FOXBOROUGH, MA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
- REST and Socket based web APIs
- Unit, mocked and automated tests

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Development of content and web services
- Be a member of an agile software team who is building the next generation of software for the automation and manufacturing industries.
- The person in this role will be responsible for developing Front End components and features like data visualization content and controls, core application components like navigation and administrative screens, and integrating with the Back End web services and other applications.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with Front End technologies to build web components and applications such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JQueryUI, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS
- Experience consuming and integrating with REST and socket based web APIs
- Experience matching style guidelines and mockups from a user experience designer
- Experience writing unit, mocked and automated tests (Jasmine, Karma).
- Experience working with other members on the team and architects to create and implement a scalable web architecture
- Experience with source control tools and build systems (SVN, Git, Bamboo, Artifactory)
- Experience working on an Agile development team
