Projektbeschreibung

A global Renewable Energy client is looking for a Client Representative focusing on Wind Turbines to complete a freelance contract on an Offshore Wind Farm project in North East UK. This role will start from approx. 1st May and end approx. 31st August 2014 with possible extensions. This role will be split between onshore and offshore duties and it will include a high frequency of travel.
Working Pattern: Initial approximately 8 weeks will be normal working hours onshore; approxuimately 40-50 hours per week with a certain amount of travelling for mobilisation. This will be followed by the offshore phase with 2 weeks on duty followed by 2 weeks off with approximately 12 hours per day, 7 working days per week. Night shifts will occur.
The Client Representative will recommend and agree minor changes to works on a daily basis within defined limits and will have the authority and responsibility to stop the installation activities immediately if safety or quality becomes compromised

Tasks:

Maintain an accurate record of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase
Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor
Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
At all times whilst on duty, act, behave and lead by example according to the client's values
Participate in preparing the DPR to be used.
Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR), as required.
Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents, as required, before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
During all defined key activities and otherwise, as often as practicable, be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
Participate in weekly safety walks with HSE representatives from the client and Contractor organisations.

Qualification:

Minimum 2 years as a WTG Client Rep

Mandatory Certificates:
Fire/Safety/lifting (LOLER)
CDM and Marine awareness
Offshore transfer
Survival at sea with HUET (or BOSIET)
Working at heights
Offshore medical
Confined Space
IOSH Managing Safely
IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet)

Experience:
Able to work independently within the first week on site
Contribute constructively to team work
Good coordination skills, be able to perform under challenging conditions and keep track of all relevant subprojects/task.

Other actions

The client will not cover the costs for industry essential training as this is deemed part of the competencies for the proposed individuals to fill the roles.
The Consultant must bring their own mobile telephone. The client will provide access to their systems via computer access.

THe Consultant must bring own PPE for working offshore. The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space.
