Client Reporting Analyst Excel Macros Asset Management

ROLE

Individual is responsible for collation of data and production of reporting for clients. Quality control checks at all stages of the process ensuring timeliness and accuracy through the whole reporting process life cycle. Investigating root cause issues that affect the accuracy or delivery of client reports. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining metrics packs and providing the management team with periodic updates.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Collation of data and production of periodic client reports including Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reporting packs and ad hoc, custom requests
Recording, tracking, driving resolution of and reporting on issues impacting reporting timeliness
Point of escalation for reporting
Close working with Performance, Front Office and Portfolio Management teams
Coordination with various internal and external teams to ensure all data is collated, checked and presented per internal SLAs in order to meet client reporting deadlines
Status reporting to client teams and senior management on any late reports or deadlines at risk due to issues
Work with client, product and other teams on development of reporting requirements
Generates ideas for operational efficiency.
As needed, individual also works with internal partners to resolve client enquiries and/or address client information needs
Project involvement

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Excellent time management skills essential to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines
Proven understanding of asset management terminology and familiarity with investments instruments is essential
Excellent PC literacy required with strong knowledge of MS-Excel and share point essential.
Proven ability to quickly understand new systems, both in-house and market data provider systems such as Bloomberg highly desirable
Numerically competent with strong problem solving and analytical skills
Must have an eye for detail
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
Self Starter, able to think ahead and schedule tasks
Ability to be flexible and change priority quickly
Ability to get other departments to deliver with the tenacity to follow up on outstanding actions.
Reporting and/or accounting background preferred
Familiarity with CORIC reporting tool
Understanding of Performance Measurement and how portfolio performance is impacted
