Client on-Boarding Manager - KYC - on-Boarding - London

CLIENT ON-BOARDING MANAGER - KYC - ON-BOARDING - LONDON

My client a Tier One Investment bank based in London, is looking for an extremely business facing Client Onboarding Manager to join an exciting and growing Global onboarding project. This role will involve managing relationships across the onboarding space, with key involvement in AML, KYC and FATCA.

This role sits within a Change, Operations space therefore it is essential that candidates comes from a business side background rather than IT.

The candidate will need to have previously managed budgets of around $50m and global teams of around 50 people; whilst it is essential they have previous loans experience. Stakeholder management is entirely essential for this role as the candidate will be interfacing with global stakeholders up to board level.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

SERVICE DELIVERY

- Supporting the delivery of the KYC service to the OCMS sector heads and sector aligned stakeholders
- Supporting the management of the UK run-the-bank team on and offshore
- Supporting and supplementing where necessary operational management oversight of all production activities, most of which are performed offshore, and of onshore production support and escalation disciplines
- Managing specific high profile onshore stakeholder queries and escalation management
- Provide input into on-going UK policy changes and ensure effective implementation across the platform

CHANGE

- Drive the roll-out of new KYC standards and technology into the run-the-bank environment
- Provide SME input and support into change initiatives and projects (requirements, testing)
- Participate in operational readiness work and lead implementation of process change across sectors

RISK MANAGEMENT

- Proactively participate in business risk management disciplines (op risk events, risk control assessments) and ensure effective delivery of related actions
- Address, on-going Compliance and Audit findings or queries

SKILLS:

- Extensive Client Onboarding management skills
- Extensive understanding of KYC/AML
- Extensive understanding of FATCA
- It is essential that candidates have managed multiple global programmes of work; acting as the key resources in the delivery of global deployments and integrations
- Act as a central point of contact.
- Management of programme team in a direct and Matrix style as required
- Prince II certified
