Client Data - Business Analyst - Banking - New York

Hatstand is currently looking for a Business Analyst with a proven track record in Client to be part of a project in early Dec 2012. As a Client Data Business Analyst your main responsibilities are to collaborate closely on cross-functional efforts in the investigation and resolution of data challenges. You will leverage your extensive background/knowledge in this domain to contribute to current processes and participate in several projects to establish a centralized Client Data Management platform.

You would be able to identify challenges, discuss opportunities and make a translation to the current and future environment. You will also act as the link between the business lines, operations, technical disciplines and data vendors to realize data related requirements.

Requirements
*At least 6 years of proven working experience as a Business Analyst
* Experience of acting as intermediary between business and IT to ensure optimal project delivery
*Knowledge and experience in the different areas within Data Management and Data Governance
*Knowledge of data processes in the banking environment
*Experience in graphical and quantitative data analysis
*Experience in working with cross-functional teams
*Proven experience developing and writing business/functional requirements
*Experience with the standard SDLC life cycle and Agile development cycle
*Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation
