Clerk of Works

CLERK OF WORKS - DV CLEARED - YORKSHIRE/CORNWALL

Our client requires an experienced Clerk of Works (CofW) for each of their MoD sites in Cornwall and Yorkshire. This is a key role in the successful running of both sites, ensuring all processes are adhered to and maintaining a communication link between the Site Manager and the various subcontractor parties operating on both sites.

Basic duties are to monitor various sub-contractor installation teams on the sites. The CofW would be the liaison point between the teams and the site staff, ensuring that the teams are following their H&S Risk Assessments and Method Statements (wearing correct PPE, working in a safe fashion etc), ensuring that new assets are provided in a list form, assisting the site manager with project handovers and any control of the teams that may be required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience as a CofW on a busy MoD site and proven ability to engage and monitor subcontractors on site
- SMSTS Health & Safety Certificate
- Understanding of MoD site processes and reporting risks/issues back to Site Manager
- Hold highest level of Security Clearance
