The opportunity:

Centrally Managed Business ( CMB ) is a division within Zurich which is mandated to run businesses that are not part of the Life or General Insurance core activities of the ZIG and is responsible for delivering solutions for Zurich's Legacy business. The strategic aim of the business is to apply long term strategic thinking to Legacy issues to deliver accelerated capital redemption whiles maximising the economic benefits.

The Claims Analyst is responsible for assisting the Special Project Manager in managing and investigating technical and exposure data relating to policies and claims.

Main Accountabilities:

The Claims Analyst is tasked with completing reviews of exposures on account, accurately recording exposures and identifying contracts where there is a high risk of new claims developing. Reviewing claims reports from Zurich Claims Departments, the Claims Analyst will give advice and instruction to ensure the claims are managed pro-actively, the claims are reserved accurately and the potential development is understood within CMB. In addition, you will be locating policy and claim information, checking accuracy, retitle and file in Data Room in preparation for execution of our exit strategies

Your skills and experience:

Ideally CII qualified, it is essential that you have strong and demonstrable broad insurance claims skills. Multi line London Market Experience, over Insurance and Reinsurance skills would be desirable. The Claims Analyst role requires good analysis experience and some strong MI skills.

Knowledge and understanding of most classes of business written including General Liability, Employers Liability and Products Liability would be desirable.

With a high level of technical claims ability, the Claims Analyst will have worked where with claims authorities in excess of US$250,000.
