- Assists in the implementation of casualty claims programs.
- Responsible for administration of claims management programs and processes, communication of programs to business units, and departmental accounting.
- Manage workers compensation, claims reporting, investigation and disposition.
- Serve as a resource to defense attorneys and employees in litigation process.
- Prepare and coordinate responses to litigation discovery.
- Conduct research and other activities for legal defense matters.
- Attend trials or claims mediations, as warranted.
- Coordinate and attend business unit claims reviews.
- Approve reserves and payment of casualty losses.
- Serve as a resource to business units and management with a focus on cost containment.
SKILLS
At least 10 years experience with workers compensation adjusting.
