Claim and Waiver Manager

My client, an international defence and security company, is looking to add a Claimer and Waiver Manager to their ever growing team.

As a Claimer and Waiver Manager you will be responsible for the contractual, commercial and administrative aspects of the contracts for all projects in the organization. He/she will be responsible for supervising and managing the items and services to be furnished by the Customer and he/she is taking care on all commercial aspects regarding his/her defined scope of work. The main target of the Contracts and Claim Manager is to secure the profitability of the project and to minimize project risks.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in contractual matters.
- MBA or equivalent.
- Managing complex and demanding situations, preferably with experience in the cultural environment of Saudi Arabia.
- MS Office.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.

The role:

- Perform claim & waiver management for all contracts.
- Support negotiations and negotiate contract amendments with the customer, partners and subcontractors.
- Implement and manage a claim & waiver management tool.
- Monitor all deliveries of the systems and services of the Customer in order to ensure accurate contract management.
- Participate in Change Control Boards and Risk Management meetings and reviews.
