Civil Engineer/Mechanical Engineer

JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL OFFICER

LOCATION: RAF MENWITH HILL, HARROGATE

CONTRACT: 10 MONTHS (WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION)

RATE: UPTO £280 PER DAY

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

- The Tech Officer Ops/Maint & Proj is accountable for ensuring they adhere and conform with all agreed DIO processes and operating procedures and instructions.
- They will have responsibility for liaising and coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders in a multi discipline environment requiring good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience required in either mechanical, electrical or construction environment encompassing facility/infrastructure maintenance, repairs, injected minor new works & small projects (B&CE or M&E experience).

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

- Management and procurement of repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishment
- Responsibility for providing support in delivering the environmental, health & safety, estate compliance and assurance portfolio iaw DIO and customer requirements .

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- IT literate. Familiar with basic IT systems. Office package.
- Recognized Building Qualification/M&E qualification. (Field of construction)
- Awareness of building regulations.
