Civil Engineer

IMMEDIATE NEED: Direct hire position for a Entry Level Civil Design Engineer with experience in design, layout and specify foundations and support structures for pumps/motors, piping and cable tray systems under the direction of an experienced engineer. Must be able to travel in support of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Will assist lead engineers with CAD layout of supports and foundation designs
- Will generate and maintain Bills of Materials and technical documents
- Will develop and review with internal and external resources plans and calculations
- Will prepare technical specifications for structural materials from industry standards
- Will perform basic structural analysis utilizing state-of-the-art computer tools and apply ACI 318, ASCE 7 and other industry standards

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have BSCE from an ABET accredited university with strong technical skills and be detail oriented
- Requires 2+ years of Civil/Structural design experience and have successfully passed the EIT
- Must have a solid practical and theoretical background in structures and be skilled at written and verbal communications
- Requires experience with AutoCAD design, layout of foundations and support structures for pumps/motors, piping and cable tray systems.
- Must be able to work independently and under direction of othersand be action oriented, with ethical values and have a strong 360 support focus
