Civil and Structural Engineer

I am currently looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to be based in the Glasgow area, to work with a major organisation in the power/process industry.

My client is looking for some one with a HND/HNC in Civil / Structures or Mechanical Engineering or associate membership of Civil or Structures or Mechanical Engineering Institution for Technologists.

- You should have experience of EPC projects, have a good understanding of power plant or process plant layouts and construction processes.
- A comprehensive understanding of framing philosophies, design techniques and relevant codes of practice for the building supporting structures, building house cladding structures.
- A comprehensive understanding of framing philosophies, design techniques and relevant codes of practice for the galleries and ladders, lift shaft, stair tower, flues and ducts supporting structures, pipe and cable racks and equipment handling and maintenance structures
