Projektbeschreibung

CITY PROMOTIONS SALES EXECUTIVE, LONDON 

- To project manage events customer queries and accounts across the City Promotions portfolio (initial focus on events and ad sales), and developing the customer base and maximising income.
- To manage individual customer accounts as directed by the CBDM
- To actively procure new filming, sampling, and advertising (website and magazine) clients in accordance with agreed sales targets.
- To minimise lost sales and practice a policy of customer retention without compromising the needs of my client.

Main responsibilities and activities supporting them

- To achieve sales and income targets in line with agreed strategy and budgets.
- To maximise new business without compromising the needs my client
- To utilise, update and develop the sales databases to identify and target former customers for marketing and sales initiatives across the portfolio. 
- To work with colleagues to produce location packages for launching film and sampling locations to potential film location and sampling clients
- To promote customer care across all activities and pursue opportunities to actively retain customers through advice on marketing and service delivery.
- To establish efficient and effective working relationships across the service in order to ensure maximised appeal of the product to customers.
- To ensure that colleagues are informed of new initiatives, customer feedback, service delivery problems or non-compliance.
- To ensure a comprehensive understanding of policies and operations affecting the service.
- To feed into weekly and monthly reporting.
- Support the CBDM on projects and tasks as and when necessary
- To undertake other duties as directed in line with the overall City Promotions team objectives of the council.

Supervision
The post holder reports to the CBDM who will allocate their work and set deadlines and priorities which they will be expected to meet autonomously. The post holder will be required to exercise his/her professional judgement in delivering the requirement of this role and meeting the agreed targets.

The Work
The nature of a sales position requires that the post holder manages and directs their own day-to-day work but within the constraints of an agreed work programme and the overall City Promotions Work Programme.

Financial Accountability/Influence
The post holder holds no budgetary responsibilities. The post holder will be responsible for winning new customers and retaining existing ones whilst not compromising my clients needs.

Person Specification
Education
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

Experience
- Three years experience of direct sales in the events and/or promotional industry with proven experience of meeting demanding sales targets
- One year- s experience of managing key customer accounts.
- Good IT skills
- Understanding and experience of business to business selling in a service industry.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and to interpret their requirements concisely.
- Experience of working with minimal supervision, project management and dealing with contacts
- Confident, ambitious and energetic - with initiative and a persuasive manner
- Self motivated and well presented
