Skillsearch are recruiting on behalf of an international IT Professional Services market leader for an experienced Citrix Technical Architect (Desktop/Application Virtualisation).

The successful candidate will architect appropriate enterprise scale technology solutions for prestigious customers, acting as the subject matter expert within this technology area within the consultancy practice, whilst mentoring other consultants during consultancy engagements.

Responsibilities:
-Lead technical aspects of pre-sales responses/bid content.
-Host customer meetings, including presenting solutions from a commercial and business perspective.
-Provide technology solutions design governance.
-Undertake individual end to end enterprise scale consultancy assignments.
-Technically manage the design and implementation of large scale solutions.
-Produce all assignment design documentation.
-Identify other service and sales opportunities.
-Build and enhance relationships with peers and sales force.
-Mentor other consultants.

Essential Skills:
-To have extensive consultancy experience in a similar enterprise scale IT Professional Services and Consultancy organisation.
-Experience of using a consultancy methodology.
-Extensive experience of pre-sales, RFP responses and determining customer requirements.
-Detailed product knowledge of Citrix, VMware and Microsoft desktop and application virtualisation technologies including:

*XenApp
*XenDesktop
*VMware View
*App-v
-Industry Qualifications, ideally, Citrix CCIA
-Knowledge of other virtualisation technologies is also essential: MS HyperV, Citrix Xenserver and Vmware.
-Knowledge and experience of Windows Server technologies and Active Directory.
-Ability to design complex technical solutions.
-Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
-Ability to input into business case development
-Negotiating skills
-Presentation experience to large audiences.

Desirable Skills:
-Previous experience working for Citrix
-A strong network of contact or a strong relation within Citrix
