Citrix Level 3 Engineer

This position is for a Citrix Level 3 Engineer. The candidate will utilize the incident management process to submit and most importantly resolve incident tickets that are escalated by Level 1 and Level 2 Support. Tickets may be associated with user requests, hardware problems, operating system problems, performance and capacity issues and problems with a variety of third-party products

Responsibilities/requirements include:

- Ability to utilize the change management process to initiate and implement Requests for Change (RFC)
- Ability to update documentation to reflect changes in processes or hardware/software environment
- Provide on-call support
- Experience with using HP Service Center
- Experience in the software installation and upgrade process
- Five or more years of experience with Citrix Metaframe XP, Presentation Server, and XenApp application hosting technologies, including management consoles, Web Interface and Licensing components, Installation Manager, and Resource Manager
- Five or more years of experience with administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server operating systems
- Three or more years of experience with Microsoft Application Virtualization
- Visual Basic, NT Batch and SQL Scripting, MetaFrame COM, and Windows Management Interface experience required
- Experience in analysing and troubleshooting issues encompassing a broad range of technologies, including network, database, storage, and security
- Must have system design experience and project management experience
- Experience working in managed support partnership
- Prior configuration management exposure and change management background
- Experience with Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2000 Server
