Citrix Design & Support Officer

Our client, a large Government Department is seeking to engage a CITRIX DESIGN AND SUPPORT OFFICER until June 2013.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:

- High level skills in the design and support of End User Computing Services
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Citrix Xenapp 4.5/5.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 in Citrix environments .
- Ability to provide support and upgrades of the SOE system
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft and Citrix technologies.
- Extensive experience in managing and supporting Citrix Xenapp 4.5/5.0 and above technologies in an large and complex enterprise environment
- Demonstrated Citrix server design and implementation experience including application integration and deployment
- Knowledge of Active Directory group policy and key Microsoft technologies used in the deployment and management of enterprise Microsoft environment's
- knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 in Citrix environments
- Technical experience and knowledge of a variety of products and services which includes; Microsoft Windows Server 2008; Microsoft Windows Server 2003; Microsoft Windows 7; Microsoft Windows XP; Windows Active Directory; Powershell Scripts; VB Scripts

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

- Degree qualifications in IT or Degree qualifications in IT or equivalent Industry qualifications
- Ability to thrive in, and a desire to succeed in, a rapidly changing environment
- Strong sense of professionalism
- High Level organisational skills, time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- An existing Security Clearance classification of at least NV1. .
