Engineer must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be flexible, dependable and have excellent time management skills. The technical skills required for this position are a solid knowledge of the latest Operating Systems, expert level knowledge in Networking hardware technologies, VOIP, Communication Protocols, and familiarity with Debugging Tools.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors Degree in an IT area or equivalent experience required
- 4 years or more of experience administering or supporting Citrix networking products
- Extensive knowledge of networking (WAN/LAN, TCP, Routing, Application layer protocols)
- Must also have at least 4 years of experience in customer support and have a positive customer service attitude

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

- Networking TCP, Flow control, Routing, WCCP, L2/L3
- Strong working knowledge of application layer protocols (FTP, SFTP, CIFS, MAPI, ICA, CGP, HTTP)
- Network Security (SSL/TLS, VPNs, Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Network Protocol Analyzers (tcpdump, Wireshark)
- Load Balancers (NetScaler, F5, Cisco CSS)
- Network Operating Systems (IOS, CatOS, JunOS)
- Excellent knowledge in common enterprise Servers/applications such as Microsoft Servers and included applications (ie, Active Directory, File Server, etc.), Citrix, RSA ACE Server, LDAP, SSLVPN technologies, etc.
- Server Operating Systems (FreeBSD and Linux)
- Working knowledge of commonly used appliances (load balancers, cache devices, packet shapers, protocol analyzers)
- Knowledge of Layer 4-7 load balancing and SSL acceleration
- Working knowledge of XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, StoreFront, AppController (XML brokers, and Secure Ticket Authorities)
- Strong experience with UNIX (BSD and Linux) server administration and Scripting
- Working knowledge of Network monitoring and management (SNMP)
- Strong understanding of Ciscos VOIP systems a plus
