Citrix Administrator
6 month Contract
Dublin City Centre
A large multinational requires an experienced Citrix Administrator for an initial 6 month contract onsite in Dublin City centre. The role will be varied and will see you supporting BAU and project work on a large Citrix estate.
The following requirements will form part of this role:
* Responsible for installation, administration and support of Citrix environment.
* Advanced Knowledge of Citrix XEN Server, XEN Desktop and XEN App.
* Acts as the contact person on technical issues; makes knowledge available to colleagues as managing incidents relating to Citrix environment as they arise.
* Ownership of assigned tasks and resolution of customer problems within SLA.
* Manage call queue for Citrix and associated Active Directory environment
* Records the calls to provide an information database concerning customer/calls/queries
* Diagnoses faults in conjunction with customer/engineers including provision of information to enable resolution by 3rd Line support or to route faults to appropriate party.
* Proactive monitoring of Citrix environment including Active Directory and associated infrastructure
Required Skills:
* Advanced working knowledge of Client and server Operating Systems
* Advanced working knowledge of Active Directory
* Advanced working knowledge of Windows and Virtualisation technology
